PixiGlow Cake 3-in-1 Luminous Transition Powders multitask as an ombré highlighter, blush and contour, providing a radiant, luminous, natural glow! These silky soft, light-diffusing cheek-glow palette enhances and perfects as it maximizes complexion’s radiance adding a luminous sheer wash of colour.  The palettes also offer skin-enhancing benefits, including skin moisture barrier repairing Ceramides, Peptides to help plump and firm skin, and Grape Seed Extract to improve skin’s elasticity.

Both palettes are soft textured, allowing the powders to brush on and blend easily. The smooth, soft texture of the powders blend seamlessly with minimal to no fallout. The larger size of the palettes is appealing, as each individual shade is large enough to accommodate a blush or contour brush. I like the option of applying each shade alone, or swirling all together.

There are two palettes in the collection: PinkChampagne Glow  and GildedBare Glow.

PinkChampagne Glow features rosy, sheer shades, a gradient mix of a very light pink (ideal for highlighting), a medium pink (lovely as a blush for cheekbones) and a darker pinkish brown hue (for blush or contour). All 3 shades combined create a rosy, champagne pink glow.

GildedBare Glow offers a more warm, peachy glow, with a light champagne, (perfect highlighting shade) , a soft peachy pink (ideal for use on cheeks) and a darker bronze shade (great as a contour or bronzer). Swirled together, the three shades combined create a shimmery coppery/rose gold shade

The palette itself appears super pigmented,  yet provides a subtle, buildable glow.  All 3 shades combined provide more intense color payout.

My Thoughts

I love the formulation of the palettes. All the shades pair well together. The palettes provide a natural, yet radiant glow. They work well for a variety of skin tones. The 3-in-1 palettes contain a generous amount of product, yet are compact enough for travel and quick touch-ups on-the-go! For a price of $28, definitely a more affordable alternative to the $58 Kevyn Aucoin Neo Bronzer palette.
