Pixi Sheer Beauty – Sheer Cheek Gel + GelTint & SilkGloss
A surprise package arrived in the mail last week from Pixi Beauty. I received all three products in both the Sheer Cheek Gel and GelTint & SilkGloss product lines!
Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel Blush
What it is:
A sheer, translucent gel blush. Creates a natural, yet long lasting natural flush of color. Can be applied to cheeks and lips. Oil free, fragrance free, hydrating, paraben free, cruelty free.
Cost: $14
My favorite shade is Natural. I may use Flushed more in the winter time. Rosy is a tad too pink for me. I will say all 3 colors are very sheer, which is why I didn’t post swatches. For someone who doesn’t wear blush very often, I like the idea of a sheer, somewhat buildable blush. I have experimented a bit, applying it under my powder blush and also with highlighter.
Pixi GelTint & Silk Gloss
Berry Tint/Sweet Gloss
Pink Tint/Pretty Gloss
Beach Tint/Fresh Gloss
What it is:
A long-lasting, dual-wand lip tint/lip gloss duo. Lip tint provides a stained look, while lip gloss infused with jojoba oil provides hydration. Wear layered, or separately.
Cost: $12
Pink Tint/Pretty Gloss and Berry Tint/Sweet Gloss are my favorites. Actually I like to apply Pink Tint with Sweet Gloss (switching it up). The lip tint is sheer, yet pigmented. One application of the GelTint, lip stain will last me until lunch time, with or without the gloss. So far doesn’t seem to be too drying. I would recommend applying a lip liner first, then blending with a lip brush. The GelTint isn’t a thick formulation. In my opinion the product will bleed outwards toward edge of lip line without a lip pencil.

These swatches look gorgeous. And thanks for the heads up about using a lip pencil first.
